A World Game: The Progressive Path (PP/AWG) is a literary alternate-history novel spanning 1980–2080, premised on Barry Commoner winning the 1980 U.S. presidential election. It operates across four nested narrative levels simultaneously: the Witness (an AI narrator outside linear time), the PP alternate timeline, Cosmo Aquarian’s novel, and RAV Johnson’s philosophical text (ntn). PP/AWG is the generative origin of the entire mmh ecosystem — the novel’s complexity forced the construction of the story bible that became the template for every KB architecture and protocol that followed.
