In mmh developmental philosophy, the Dyad is the two-position binary structure (dominant/subordinate, us/them) that collective organizing reproduces when participants lack the interior work to hold relational tension; the Tetrad is the four-position relational structure that sgbh’s group work and toi’s quadrant model both embody. The Dyad→Tetrad move is enacted at the level of story by the Witness narrator in pp-awg, making it the novel’s philosophical thesis in structural form. The move from Dyad to Tetrad is what sgbh teaches and what ddd requires at scale.
