What this is
The meta-framework layer that creates universal templates, protocols, and standards for knowledge base development across all Claude projects. Every protocol in the ecosystem has a UKBTP generic version written to be deployable in a new ecosystem, a new tool, or even a non-Claude AI system — only the configuration values change.
Naming note: “UTK” is a deprecated/incorrect code still propagating through some KB documents. The correct code is UKBTP (Universal KB Template Protocols). Correction is mid-propagation across the ecosystem.
Portability-first design
Protocols are written with configuration blocks rather than hardcoded values. The glossary extraction protocol, for example, was explicitly genericized during the June 22 session for “a future packaged product or a non-Claude AI system.” This is not theoretical — the architecture is already built for deployment outside mmh.
Protocols housed here (genericized versions)
Notion Hub Two-Layer Architecture, Notion Hub Integration Protocol, Glossary Extraction Protocol, Thread Registry Template, Session Addendum Protocol, Narrative Thread Registry, Cross-Reference Integrity Protocol, Multi-Dimensional Development Framework, Knowledge Migration Protocol, Haiku Queue Protocol (retained as reference, not active practice).
The product potential
If the ecosystem’s methodology (KB management, cross-project integration, session continuity, knowledge migration) were ever packaged for other users or other AI systems, UKBTP is what they’d be buying. The protocols already have the architecture.
Relationship to WWZ/World Game
wwz is the vision (worldwide zettelkasten); UKBTP is the protocol substrate that would make a scaled WWZ platform function. UKBTP is framed as infrastructure the platform would depend on — not a peer project alongside toi or mmh.
Relationship to Story SYNC
story-sync was the original product conception of an AI-assisted writing/knowledge platform. UKBTP is what the protocol layer of such a platform now looks like, developed organically through ecosystem use rather than designed top-down.
Key relationships
wwz (vision ↔ protocol substrate), ccapi (battle-testing ground), story-sync (conceptual ancestor), mmh Core (source framework), every project in the ecosystem (all use UKBTP-derived protocols).
Status note
Synthesized June 28, 2026. This is infrastructure, not content — the resume describes a substrate other nodes depend on. Home Project: MMH.
