The New Field (TNF) is an emergent synthesis of Internal Family Systems and Family Constellations that goes beyond both frameworks individually — not yet a defined methodology, but a set of structural claims that have arrived independently across multiple sessions. Its two sharpest claims: the FC mechanism (“Knowing it doesn’t move it — only something in the field moves it”) and the ancestral-loyalty hypothesis (hiddenness as loyalty to ancestors who were not allowed to be seen). TNF sits developmentally above sgbh as what advanced facilitation becomes after sufficient inner and systemic work.
